“WHEN’S IT MY TURN?”
With guest BRENDA FOLEY and WILL ROGERS (they are also the creators and co-hosts of the event. How will they do it?)
Music Direction by ALICIA FERRIN (Phoenix Theatre’s HELLO GIRLS)
With Special Appearances by BRIDGE CORE ARTISTS and those that consider themselves BROADWAY CURIOUS
As this pilot year of Broadway Curious comes to a close, this season’s final conversation sees our hosts, BRENDA and WILL, look at…each other…and share revelations about who they are as people, what musical theater means to them, and what next season will look like.
We’ll ask questions like:
“Why did we start Broadway Curious?”
“Haven’t we had some amazing guests?”
“Who is that ALICIA lady over there on that piano and why does shoe look so good?”
We will ask these questions and more of our guests and audience when we gather for this monthly meetup that is part cabaret, part talk show, and completely TODAY!

“GOOD GRIEF?”
How musical comedy meets emotional distress
With guest SETH TUCKER
(Phoenix Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company, Arizona Broadway Theatre)
Music Direction by ALICIA FERRIN (Phoenix Theatre’s HELLO GIRLS)
Hosted by BRENDA JEAN FOLEY & WILL ROGERS
How do musical theatre writers and composers bring us new, often humorous, perspectives on universal themes of grief and sadness? How, in a time when we have all been touched by loss, does one perform these works in a way that honors their personal experience without consuming them? How can dark subject matter elicit some of our biggest laughs?
We will ask these questions and more of our guests and audience when we gather for this monthly meetup that is part cabaret, part talk show, and completely TODAY!
