Intimate Apparel

Winner of the New York Drama Critics Circle and the Outer Critics Circle Awards, “Intimate Apparel” offers poignant commentary on an era when the cut and color of one’s dress—and of course, skin—determined whom one could and could not marry, sleep with, even talk to in public. Viola Davis made a huge mark in the original production.

This is a free event, though donations are gladly accepted (we have some costs due to rights and scripts, though the actors and directors donate their time). Mesa Encore Theatre, 933 E. Main St, Mesa, AZ 85203 on Sunday, May 1st @ 7pm. NOTE: Our May reading will NOT actually be the second Sunday of May but rather the first Sunday instead due to Mother’s Day.
